4 months… A lot has happened, just not here. 360gl has a long way to go to prove itself… but I can promise you one thing. We aren’t going anywhere… The focus may change, but the community isn’t going anywhere.

Thanx goes out to you hard core members that still keep in touch and have stayed with us. For that I am truly grateful. So as time goes on and the functionality of this site grows… We may grow… maybe we missed our shot…

I have a few requests out there to get this place a little spiced up and interesting for all types of Gamers… but for now… Let me get some plans set for an upcoming year of fun…

The Last Resistance

The Last Resistance took home the second 360GL crown with TLR Nasty on the winning team for the second time… He promptly used the 1600 MS Points to change his Gamertag, but what’s in a name anyways! Congrats to the entire team which also included TLR Cloud1, TLR CrReam & V Nam. Nasty has become a force to be reckoned with here in the 360GL Tournaments and The Last Resistance as a clan definitely showed their skill in every Round this weekend.

Mrs Achievement and I would also like to congratulate StingerMS & his team (A Few Stood Against Many) for making it to the Final Round for the second time also. I smell a rivalry brewing. We look forward to seeing these and all of this months teams in future Tournaments!

This Tournament had a few bumps with Mrs A’s 360 dying and a few team issues, but overall the Tournament went extremely smoothly and that is something Mrs Achievement and I lay directly at the foot of our members. You are all awesome and 360GL can’t wait to Host another Tournament and do it all again! Except next time, we want (both) our 360’s to live through it!

360GL – July 27-28 Tournament Bracket: Final Four

After a crazy night and a few unexpected problems, Mrs Achievement and I had a chance to reacquaint ourselves with Murphy’s Law. But after a few quick changes and contacting the Teams effected, we were able to keep things on schedule. A huge Thanx goes out to everyone for bearing with us as we dealt with another dead 360 -this one with a terrible sense of timing…

So here’s the scoop: Once again StingerMS and his team are moving towards the Finals… unless Second 2 None puts the breaks on them! TLR Nasty and his team are also moving towards the Finals, but have stiff competition coming their way in Team Buffy.

Congratulations to everyone who has made it into the Final Rounds. We here at 360GL are excited to see the Final Results & blowing out another set of Microsoft Point Cards to the Winners. Thanx again to all of our amazing Members that definitely are what make these Tournaments a success!

360GL July GoW Tournament!

Tournament start for 8-16 teams will be 7/27 and 7/26 for a 32 team start . We are re-working our tournament system. We learned a lot in the first tournament. One major fix will be that teams can sign-up with a max 8 players to allow for subs in a tournament round.

360GL let the good times roll!

Well we have been hard at work behind the scenes here at 360gl, and are happy to announce our next tournament! Back by popular demand 4v4 Gears of War! After reading about a hundred different PM’s, forum posts, and e-mails this is what the people want, and we are happy to oblige! We will however offer 2-3 community nights with prizes in various other games prior to the tournament…for those like StingerMS, who are Shadowrun Fanatics it will be included in an up-coming community night.

Working on now:

Tournament start for 8 teams will be 7/13. We are scheduling the Tournament in July as we are re-working our tournament system. We learned a lot in the first tournament and I have learned even more playing competitively with PMS. One major fix will be that teams can sign-up with a max 8 players to allow for subs in a tournament round. We also are hosting a private LAN party which is consuming time as well.

I have seen SoupyC and VGS hinting about the challenge system, which is coming. I am at a cross-road with the way reporting will be done and I just haven’t decided which way to go. Rest assured however the code is chugging along.

We will also be making an offer to a few select members that they won’t be able to refuse….well we hope they won’t refuse…lol

Our future goals:

We have been meeting lot’s of interesting people from the 360 community the last few weeks and have some thoughts for our pro-league and some exciting opportunities for helping some members realize their pro-gaming dreams!

More to come on that later…..
